RENOLIT Nordic K/S

RENOLIT ALKORGREEN
As is well known more and more green roofs is seen - both in new construction and renovation . RENOLIT has for several years had a superior system to the solution of extensive green roofs, where the total weight of membrane, filter and drainage layer, and water retention layer together constitute 5.19 kg/m2 .
With RENOLIT ALKORGREEN you get a complete system from one supplier and the only
subsequently to be decided is the actual vegetation.

RENOLIT ALKORPLAN on PIR insulation
Under normal circumstances it is recommended that a separation layer of glass fleece on min. 120 g/m2 is used when AKLKORPLAN is mounted on PIR, PUR, EPS or XPS insulation. The reason is partly that these types of insulation degrades PVC membranes because they "drag" plasticisation out of the membrane by which it loses its flexibility and to glass fleece prevents the underlying insulation to ignite in the event of a fire on the roof outside.
As the requirements for insulation in roofs increases we see a more extensive use of specially PIR insulation, which is characterized by a very high insulation properties . Many manufacturers of PIR insulation provides the insulation with a thin aluminium foil laminated to the insulation. This lamination prevents "extract" of plasticisation and the question has naturally been; how is the behaving of the overall construction in connection with fire and fire tests?
ALKORPLAN 35076 in 1.2 mm thickness is now fire tested on PIR insulation with aluminium lamination without the use of separation layer of glass fleece, and the  membrane are also under these conditions meeting the requirements for Broof(T2).

RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Flip System
Since the market is always looking for solutions to more rational installation, developing of both membranes and fasteners are continuously taking place. Latest initiative from RENOLIT ALKORPLAN is the launch of the ALKORPLAN Flip System. The system is based on the well known RENOLIT ALKORPLAN F 35076 and therefore has the
same qualities in relation to fire resistance, resistance to low temperature, long lifetime and not least ALKORPLAN’s unique welding properties.
A 210 cm wide ALKORPLAN membrane is factory welded with 2 longitudinal flips for mechanical fastening. This provides several advantages. In areas with high wind loads and thus a greater number of mechanical fastenings, you will normally have to use membranes in smaller widths. Smaller membranes naturally gives more welds on the roof and more welds provides both a longer installation time and a higher risk of errors.
RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Flip System has through a year been used on a series of pilot projects and the feedback from customers has generally been positive. One of Norway's largest roofing contractors has particular stated: ".. the use of the Flip System has almost halved the assembly time.". RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Flip System is available in 1.2 and 1.5 mm thicknesses and colours light grey and charcoal as standard with the well known non-slip surface. The system also comes with the Norwegian SINTEF approval (TG20063).

RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Upstand System
In connection with the launch of RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Flip System RENOLIT has also launched the RENOLIT ALKORPLAN Upstand System for easy and simple installation of the parapet and upstands. By combining the required linear edge fixation with a welded pocket on the covering membrane a simple and quick installation and an optimally mounted parapet covering without using glue or liquid welding agent is achieved.

RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR
RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR is a unique system that allows installation of solar panels on PVC roofs, not only RENOLIT ALKORPLAN but also many other manufacturers, without any penetrations of the membrane itself and without the need for extra ballast. The system has during a couple of years shown its clear advantages in a number of solar roofs around Europe and recently also on other types of roofs

In May 2011 RENOLIT UK won the honourable title Roofing Award 2011 for the project Scunthorpe Leisure Academy. The building is designed as 5 continuous domes, all waterproofed with ALKORPLAN PVC membranes. On these the ALKORSOLAR system is mounted for fastening various types of coatings, wood, aluminium, glass and vegetation.
